IDX 818 is a NEWLY developed digital telephone system based upon ISDN technology. One pair of wires carries the data and voice portions of transmission between the phone set and the control unit (KSU). The IDX is a non-blocking digital system. All phones can be talking at the same time. No limits on voice channels except for the number of lines available to the system. The basic KSU comes equipped 4 lines X 8 digital stations X 2 analog stations and can be expanded up to it's maximum of 8 lines X 16 digital stations X 2 analog stations. Lines expand in increments of 2 and digital stations expand by one increment of 8. The IDX phones comes with a  five year limited warranty, and the KSU comes  with a  one year warranty
